Before, if you needed a headset, you had to use a cable and a jack. For a headset, the link was with a cable. Further, cables are always a not good for mobile devices.

Currently, with Bluetooth technology, you can connect without the cables. You only need to have a Bluetooth dongle on your computer and you can connect your computer bluetooth headset without a wire. The good thing about this invention is that you don’t need to get a same brand earphone. You can opt for other brands, and as long as it’s Bluetooth enabled, you can use it without any hassles.

Bluetooth evolved from as a collaboration to create a standard of wireless interconnection between multiple devices. As long as the electronic item needed to be connected to some other device, Bluetooth technology can solve that issue. You can have a Bluetooth headset and it can connect to any other device which has a Bluetooth connection. For instance a Bluetooth device and a PC can use the same headset.

As of today. there a lot of models to choose from for a wireless Bluetooth headset. You choose a mono-headset, which clips to one ear, or a stereo headset. In any way of course, the microphone is built-in and comes installed with the device.
