A Detox Diet is a diet in which you have only glasses of water every day of the diet. The whole purpose of Detox Diets is to detoxify your body from all the toxins present in your body. The Detox Diet is a little difficult as the fasting has to be done for 3 days. You should drink only purified water. However it is also important that you restrict your physical activity and exercise during this period as you will feel very weak if you continue the activities. It is advisable to rest in bed or sit on the sofa during your Detox diet routine.

There are some experts who suggest that instead of having glasses of water for 3 days one can also have other liquids like fruit and vegetable juices as a result of which the body will be able to sustain the much needed energy. After a Detox Diet Plan of 3 days experts suggest that you should continue a diet in which you eat only one type of fruit with each meal. You can have all types of melons for the fruits that you eat. For lunch you can have wither oranges, pineapples, grapefruits or plums with your lunch. However it is advisable that eat only one type of fruit at a time.

In the evening you can select apples, pears, grapes or bananas. Again it is advisable to eat only one type of a fruit at a time and you ca neat the fruit s long as you don’t feel hungry. You can also vary the type of fruits you eat daily. As mentioned before, do not exert your body much by doing heavy exercises or indulging in strenuous physical activities that can spa the energy from your body.  You can however do common household work as well as go to office and do light office work. It is very necessary to conserve your energy as far as possible. It is possible that you may experience some symptoms like tiredness and light headedness but you do your best to persevere with your diet plan. As the days pass the symptoms will go away gradually. Also refrain from going to any social events as it may sap your energy. Just rest as much as possible and conserve your energy.

Hence we see that a Detox diet is completely safe and has no side effects whatsoever. The effects are noticeable within a short period of time and they are long lasting.
