We certainly did not pick a good time to get married. With the current economy in recession the way it is, we’re trying really hard and finding it difficult to make ends meet. As you might know, getting married and having a wedding these days can be very expensive. Since my parents are not a traditional type and refuse to pay for my wedding. It is up to my husband and I are covered the entire cost.

As I search for way to cut cost in regards the cost of the wedding. A girlfriend made a wonderful suggestion to me. She told me that if I make my diy wedding invites myself I can save a bundle of money. After doing some research online, that is definitely the truth. If you think about it, each wedding has at least 100 to 500 different guests. And ordering custom invitations can be very expensive. This fancy paper to use, many different colors, not to mention postage stamps. So it all adds up in a very quick way,

I did some research on diy wedding invites. I find that if I head down to my local craft store. I can find all the necessary components of making wedding invitations at a fraction of the cost. And with today’s economy I find that to be very helpful indeed. I have since asked my mother and my sisters to give me a hand in picking the right colors, find a proper paper, and assisting me in the putting together these do-it-yourself wedding invitations. I hope they turn out as well as my big wedding day will.
